Superabrasive started doing business in the United States in 1992 under the DTS name. The first company office was in Monroe, Michigan, selling diamond wheels for optical lens edging, and soon after tools for stone fabrication.
In 2002, the company moved its office to Georgia, and in the following years we gradually shifted our business focus to the concrete industry. In 2007, we moved to our own 46,000 sqf state-of-the-art facility in Hoschton, GA, which remains our Headquarters to date. It includes a large and modern office space, warehouse and LAVINA Repair Center. In 2016 we added a manufacturing facility for the ShinePro / SupraShine floor maintenance pads, and more warehouse space in 2021, expanding our facility to 87,000 sqf. By investing in cutting-edge technology and maintaining a customer-centric approach, Superabrasive is delivering tools and equipment that offer superior results and contribute to the success of projects worldwide.
We started as a diamond powder manufacturer, but over time we have added production lines for diamond tools and equipment.
The first LAVINA polishing machines were launched in 2004. Since then, we have upgraded the machines design and features, and added new models with each new generation – SPS (2008), Pro (2010), S (2013), X (2017), Elite (2019), and the latest S7 Series (2023). Lavina grinders are valued for their robust build quality, efficiency in grinding and polishing concrete surfaces, and versatility in handling different types of concrete and surface conditions. We have also expanded into production of dust extractors, polishing trowels, and most recently, finishing power trowels.
As Superabrasive continues to expand its offerings, customers can expect new innovative products, designed to optimize every stage of concrete work.
